The Owner
Verbum versus Verbum was founded by Michaela Colletti in 1996. She is a commercial interpreter and translator for English and French and
a sworn translator for Italian. She speaks excellent Spanish and has a basic knowledge of Russian.
She therefore has a command of all the languages we offer and is able to form a personal opinion of the linguistic quality of the translations, interpreter services and teaching in these languages.
This distinguishes us from many other translation agencies.
But language alone is not enough to understand the specialist fields and internal concerns of our customers. Before Michaela Colletti started her Language Services she worked in the services and banking industries, at the stock exchange, in the clearing and settlement sector and also in the automotive, metal working and construction industries. She knows what our customers are talking about and understands their special language and terminology.
The Services Coordinators
Our Services Coordination Team offers our customers a special and personal service in organisational matters. They are there to give you expert advice at any time you wish when it comes to the organisation of translations, interpreting and language teaching.
The Translators, Interpreters and Teachers
Our experienced translators and interpreters are native speakers of the target language with expertise and sometimes university degrees in their fields of specialisation. They live in Germany, in other parts of the EU
or in the USA. Every translator is assigned to a certain clientele in order to guarantee consistency in style and terminology.
Our language teachers have a good grounding in their subjects and in teaching methods.
